Make your mark as an Electrical Workshop Technician at Gardline!
We are looking for an Electrical Workshop Technician is to ensure the seamless day to day running of the CPT (Cone Penetration Test) Bay located within the Gardline workshop. This shall include the maintenance, testing, preparation and packing/unpacking of all CPT related equipment’s.
This role is office based in Great Yarmouth, but also provides the opportunity for occasional offshore trips and attendance at vessel mobilisations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Ensure that all equipment is prepared and packed to meet agreed mobilisation deadlines
- Ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out on Gardline subsea equipment’s and items as directed and to the time scales agreed
- Ensure that all maintenance documentation, equipment records and such like are fully and accurately completed
- Report any issues in regards to missing, faulty equipment or items that belong to Gardline
Qualifications
Your qualities
You can make your mark as an Workshop Technician if you have:
- Minimum 2 years in an electrical role, but transferable skills from similar experience can be worked with
- Experience of working with offshore equipment or similar is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to demonstrate very good levels of skill within the discipline of engineering.
- Industry experience is desired but transferable skills from similar equipment used in industry would be an advantage

Fulltime job: The position of Workshop Technician is a fulltime role, 37.5 hours per week
