We are looking to recruit a Drawing Office Manager to join our established Geophysical department.

Job description
Your main responsibilities will include, but not limited to, compilation of maps and illustrations in line with established procedures, working to detailed client specifications for major CAD/GIS projects and QC of data sets.
You will be required to proactively seek improvement opportunities with software and working practices to enhance our final product, together with providing guidance, training and coordination of direct reports to effectively manage performance in accordance with current legislation and leading by example.
Job requirements
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in a marine cartographic environment, together with a proven work history of GIS. You will be required to have demonstrable experience of typical industry map projections and datums, with a sound understanding of vector and raster formats.
You will hold a recognised Cartographic qualification or CAD/Survey/Graphic/ICT based qualification and the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
The role is both challenging and rewarding in equal measure for someone with the right mix of skills and knowledge.
