The primary aim of the HSSE Officer is to continually ensure the health and safety of Gardline employees, contractors and visitors and to minimise the impact the Company has on the environment.
The HSSE Officer will strive to meet the company’s ultimate goal of ‘zero harm to people and the environment’ through continually meeting, and where possible exceeding, the health, safety and environmental obligations and standards we set.
The successful candidate will promote a positive HSSE culture, leading by example. You will support the development of procedures and systems, conduct internal audits and complete tender responses to client questionnaires. You will be responsible for supporting HSSE across our sites, with a particular focus on developing our Environmental and Sustainability initiatives.
NEBOSH certificate is preferred but not essential and the ideal candidate will have experience with document control, auditing and environmental management. The role is office based with occasional travel but a UK driving licence is required.
