As part of Gardline’s specialist Seismic Processing department, the ideal candidate will undertake the processing and quality control of seismic datasets within the seismic processing department’s office in Great Yarmouth. You will be responsible for geophysical analysis, selecting the appropriate processing techniques to produce consistently high-quality data for our clients both internally and externally, and compilation of processing reports to accompany these datasets.
Candidates are required to be flexible within their team and positive about working with the variety of other teams across the company. You will also have the ability and confidence to adapt accordingly to requirements in a scientific and technical environment, with the added pressures of time deadlines.
Candidates will have a degree in a geosciences, physics or mathematics related subject and have an analytical, attention to detail and quality driven work ethic.
You must have at least 3 years Seismic Processing experience, either office or offshore based, be confident using a variety of general and specialist IT systems and software packages and have the ability to communicate information professionally and effectively. A higher level degree in a geosciences related discipline would also be beneficial.
A full drivers’ licence would also be advantageous, and you must have the right to work in the UK.
