Gardline’s new state of the art survey vessel, the Ocean Resolution, has now commenced survey operations following equipment trials earlier this year. The vessel has been purpose designed to cater for both offshore Oil & Gas and Wind Farm surveys, being equally at home in both markets.
The Ocean Resolution is a DP2 survey vessel with 80m LOA and a beam of 18m allowing her to be configured with an array of high specification equipment to conduct simultaneous survey operations from a single mobilisation including 2D & 3DHR seismic, shallow geotechnical with a 100kN CPT deployable through the vessel’s moonpool and environmental sampling through the side A-Frames. The vessel is designed with safety and comfort of the crew in mind with bespoke back deck handling systems.
