Margaret Barge The ’Margaret’ ran aground on the Cape West Coast, South Africa on 24 June 2009 with a cargo of 12 river barges and two floating docks. She was being towed to the Netherlands when the tug lost her tow in adverse weather conditions. Wreck reduction activities were undertaken with respect to the 'Margaret' barge.
