Make Your Mark as a Project Operations Controller!

As a Project Operations Controller, you will cover the daily management of vessels in line with Company policies, procedures and client specifications; providing technical, contractual and administrative support to the offshore project teams. Liaison with all parties throughout project execution to ensure effective control of vessel logistics and project needs.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for successful execution of mobilisations, project delivery and demobilisation.
  • Ensure that all vessel related projects (mobs/demobs etc) are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop detailed mobilisation plans where required to monitor and track progress in line with company expectations.
  • Manage changes to vessel requirements, schedule and project costs using appropriate change management techniques.
  • Measure project performance against KPIs and objectives.
  • Manage relationships of all internal stakeholders throughout the Project Lifecycle.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

 

Your Qualities:

You can move ahead as a Project Operations Controller if you have:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline would be beneficial.
  • Project Management qualification (APM/Prince II).
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum of 2 years project, commercial, Logistical and/or financial experience, preferably in a marine/survey industry.
  • Experience in a relevant industry/Role and ability to manage vessel logistics and 3rd party vendors to a high level.
  • Knowledge and experience of working in an offshore discipline.
  • Ability to travel at short notice

  • Where you will work: Endeavour House, Admiralty Road, Great Yarmouth, NR30 3NG
  • Fulltime/ part-time job: The position of function is a fulltime (37.5 hours a week)
